KatsDrawings is the website of CameraView's artist, Kathy Jones, providing photo-realistic illustrations using pen and ink with water color pencil. She has the ability to render your photographs into illustrations or artwork. She specializes in taking photographs and rendering, using water color pencils and ink, artwork of any size.  She takes pride in the small details and depictions her work entails. Kathy's Biography:  I took an interest in art early. What I know, I have learned through reading, experimenting and a lot of trial and error. I've always admired a drawing that has intricate detail, especially the ones that combine detail while mastering shades and tones. I strive to recreate and render the fine detail and tonal range that we see and preserve on photographs. Through our many miles of travel, we've seen some fabulous landscapes and scenes that I enjoy transforming into artwork.  I have participated in the juried January 2001 Fort Smith Art Quest Exhibition at Ft. Smith Arkansas' Civic Center Opening. My Lake Powell drawing was purchased by a local business and then donated to the Civic Center as part of their permanent collection. I was selected and participated in the juried 28th Paseo Arts Festival in May 2004. The Ahwahneeche Map  was selected to be in the OVAC sponsored Oklahoma Painting and Drawing Biennial 2005 show that ran from April through June 2004 at the University of Science and Arts in Chickasha, Oklahoma. And finally, I participated in Shawnee, Oklahoma's Art and Wine Festival in June 2004. I have created artwork for clients that had many reasons for turning their photographs into works of art that they proudly display in their homes. Maybe your property or homestead......   How to estimate the cost: To calculate the approximate cost of a rendered drawing, measure the  two sides of the artwork's final size (length times width = square inches), then multiply the result by $5.00.
